British male voiceover artist, award-winning UK radio presenter and audio production specialist –  Craig K (aka Craig Kennealey)

With well over a decade of hands-on experience across broadcasting, media creation, and audio branding, I specialise in crafting broadcast-ready sound that captures attention and connects with audiences. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of voicing and producing audio for regional and national UK television, commercial and community radio, top-tier podcasts, corporate events, and major entertainment venues across the globe. Whether working to tight deadlines or bringing complex creative concepts to life, my focus is always on delivering engaging, high-impact audio with exceptionally fast turnaround.

Radio & Broadcasting Experience

My broadcast journey spans more than ten years on air and behind the scenes. I’ve presented across multiple community radio stations in North Wales, including prominent roles at Point FM 103.1 and Sound Radio 103.1.

My extensive work as a broadcaster covers every side of the studio:

  • Live Show Presenting: Engaging listeners with warmth, sharp energy, and relatable storytelling.

  • Radio Imaging & Audio Production: Designing bespoke station IDs, sweepers, and promos that define a station’s sonic identity.

  • Content Direction & Scheduling: Structuring compelling show lineups, playlist strategies, and programming flow.

  • Technical & Operational Management: Deep technical knowledge of broadcast setups, play-out systems, and community radio operations.

In 2016, my work was recognised nationally at the Community Radio Awards in Birmingham, where I earned:

  • Gold – Best Entertainment Show

  • Silver – Best Male Presenter

To this day, I remain the only male presenter in Wales to place in the Top 3 for Best Male Presenter, and one of only two Gold award winners in North Wales.

In 2017, I stepped into management as a Director at Sound Radio Ltd, playing a pivotal role in the successful application for a new Ofcom community FM license for the Vale of Clwyd. Following years of hard work, the station successfully launched on 103.1 FM in February 2021. After helping establish the station’s foundation, I stepped down from my directorial role in June 2022 to focus on new creative ventures.

I’ve continued to feed my passion for radio through two core passion projects:

  • Craig K’s Radio La La: A syndicated radio show packed with quirky, entertaining content.

  • Rhyl Radio: A hyper-local digital and smart-speaker station dedicated to Rhyl in Denbighshire, North Wales.

In June 2026, I joined the talented team at Red Rose Radio, broadcasting across West Lancashire, Preston, Wigan, and St Helens on DAB+ and online. You can catch me presenting live every Saturday morning from 10am – 2pm tuning in via DAB+ in West Lancashire or listening anywhere in the world at www.redroseradio.uk.

Voiceover & Audio Production

Parallel to my radio career, I’ve built a solid reputation as a versatile and reliable British voiceover artist. Known for a warm, conversational, and energetic tone, I tailor my delivery to match the exact mood of your campaign.

My voiceover work includes:

  • Regional & National TV Advertising: Commercials broadcast on ITV and ITV Hub.

  • Radio Advert Voiceover: Campaigns aired on Smooth, Heart, and commercial/community stations across the UK.

  • Corporate & Explainer Videos: Clear, authoritative, yet approachable narration for corporate media.

  • Live Event Announcements & Hosting: In-house announcements for award ceremonies and venue events.

You might also recognize me as one of the official voices of Drayton Manor Theme Park, where I play the playful Adventure Cove weather reporter. I’ve also voiced high-energy promotional campaigns for major entertainment brands and events, including Bingo Loco, Lytham Festival, Hull Fair, The Big Day Out (Ireland), and many more.

As an audio production specialist, I combine voice work with expert sound design. I have produced and voiced hundreds of custom radio sweepers, promos, commercials, and complete audio branding packages for radio stations worldwide—spanning the UK, USA, Europe, Australia, and Africa.
